Don’t have a contouring bronzer with you? Not a problem. Contouring palettes or bronzers aren’t the only makeup tools that can sculpt really well. You can still contour just as well as with these makeup products you may already have at home…

Hack 1: Concealer

Using a creamy, long-lasting concealer is one of the easiest ways to achieve a gently sculpted, photo-ready look. (1) Use your fingers or a concealer brush, create upside-down triangles beginning under your eyes and meeting the apples of your cheeks. Blend until even for an instant brightening effect.  (2) Apply a deeper concealer shade along the sides of your forehead near the hairline and in the hollows of your cheeks to define cheekbones. Use your fingers for a perfect blend.

Hack 2: Highlighter

Strobing is the new contouring. Use a highlighter shade that best matches your skin tone and only use it in spots that catch light – on your cheekbones, along your temples, down the bridge of your nose, below your brow bone, in the corners of your eyes, and above your cupid’s bow. To avoid looking like a disco ball, blend it out with your fingers for a natural look.

Hack 3: Blush

Ditch your bronzer palette or contour stick and start sculpting your face with blush using the “draping” technique. Forget all about the apple of your cheeks. Sweeping a deeper shade of blush just below the apples of the cheek can create the illusion of cheekbones. Then, swirl the lighter shade on top and blend the edges away.
